Language Learning With Your Camera
Lissom is an AI-driven language learning companion for the modern traveller, offering a new way to explore new languages and cultures, using your camera, not your keyboard.
Lisso is an LLM-powered language learning companion for the modern traveller, offering a new way to explore languages and cultures. Simply look at any object to start learning while on the go.
Our goal is to make a smart learning companion that understands your actions and the context of the scene it’s looking at. With dynamic real-world learning we feel we can enhance language learning and make travelling itself easier and more enjoyable.
Lisso currently works by pointing. You can point at pretty much anything indoors and outside. And you’ll get the object translated in your language of choice. You can hear it pronounced correctly. And you can see the object in a generated sentence.
Dive into languages as you explore. Use your camera to translate 100s of objects around you and learn in real-time, making each interaction a lesson. Engage with native speakers and local environments, enhancing your language skills through practical, contextual use. And learn about local culture and customs through playful engagement and daily challenges.
We're currently looking for angel or pre-seed investors to rapidly develop Lissom further. We'd love for you to join us on this project.
